Planning
Cyngor Sir Ceredigon are obliged to inform the Council of planning applications in their area and take into account their submissions.
Grant funding
The Council have the power to make grants to local groups and organisations.
Decisions about grants are made at the February meeting of the council.
If your group wishes to apply for a grant, please send details of your request to the Clerk by not later than 31 Janaury.
Shelters
Provision and maintenance of shelters for general public use and also particularly for bus passengers.
In the year 2025 / 2026 we continue to focus on futher installation of bus shelters across the community.
Rights of way
Maintenance of public footpaths and bridleways.

Playing fields
Provision and maintenance of land for any kind of outdoor recreation.
In the year 2025 / 2026, in response to community feedback, we are exploring how we may be able to provide a safe area for children to play.
Community reslience
We have a community resilience plan which is invoked in times of crisis.
We work with other groups and premises within the community to ensure a coherent approach and to avoid duplication of effort.
Litter provision
The provision of litterbins in streets and support for anti-litter campaigns.
During the year 2025/2026 we will continue to arrange periodic litter picks across the community. We will continue to ask Cyngor Sir Ceredigion for further bins to be installed when seen to be needed.
